Why Axis & Rise Exists

Nicole Bankston brings more than 13 years of experience in operations, data, systems, and project delivery, with a career focused on solving complex problems and turning disconnected processes into systems that work. Throughout her career, she has worked at the intersection of people, processes, and technology, identifying gaps, organizing complex information, improving workflows, and helping organizations move from fragmented data to practical, scalable solutions.

That experience led her to found Axis & Rise. Nicole saw an opportunity to bring the same operational and data expertise to a problem local governments face every day: records that accumulate faster than teams have the time or resources to organize them.

Axis & Rise was built to help municipalities, counties, courts, and school districts clean up, organize, index, and modernize their records using practical data solutions and AI-assisted tools. Her approach is grounded in how government teams actually work, the goal is not to introduce unnecessary technology or disrupt existing workflows, but to create records systems that are accurate, secure, searchable, and easier for staff to manage.
